• The 2024 program strengthened national efforts on Life Skills-Based Education (LSBE), youth engagement, and gender-responsive resilience. Key results included:
• (a) Development of LSBE standalone curriculum for Grades IX–XII and pilot rollout in 100 FDE schools (training 100 teachers and reaching 2,000 students);
• (b) Establishment of the National Forum on LSBE, with quarterly meetings chaired by MoFE&PT, leading to alignment of curricula and integration into provincial domains;
• (c) 15 schools digitized with Chromebooks and LED screens for LSBE learning;
• (d) Y-Peer Network reactivated with 93 trained youth members in Punjab, KP, and Balochistan;
• (e) National Youth Helpline (NYHL) handled 15,503 calls nationwide (64% psychosocial, 13% education, 11% reproductive health issues);
• (f) National Youth Summit 2024 hosted 300+ youth and stakeholders to promote leadership and inclusion;
• (g) Teacher training and community engagement in 11 districts reached 8,792 community members (3,536 children, 3,400 parents, 1,856 elders);
• (h) Needs assessment of out-of-school adolescents conducted in 10 districts (KP, Punjab, Balochistan), identifying barriers and policy recommendations;
• (i) Stakeholder mapping of 20 CBOs/CSOs in refugee and host communities completed, improving local education and LSBE delivery; and
• (j) GBV Response Program assisted 5,622 women, men, and children through 3 active WGFS in Balochistan.
• The program achieved 100% completion across all outputs, advancing national youth, education, and gender goals.

• Community-level emergency preparedness and response (EPR) systems strengthened for flood disaster management, benefiting approximately 10,000 beneficiaries in 20 villages.
• Disaster mitigation infrastructure built in all project villages, including 20 protection walls, 20 water ponds, and 20 raised ground safe places.
• Resilient livelihoods built for approximately 2,000 households through trainings on climate smart agriculture (CSA) and income generation activities (IGA).
• Protection of the community’s environment from degradation through climate smart activities, resulting in the planting of approximately 10,000 trees, establishment of 20 nurseries, and implementation of waste management and water conservation measures in all project villages.

Project details

• Organized and conducted four provincial training workshops for Nutrition International (NI) and Department of Health (DoH) focal persons across Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, trained 300 Health department staff with on VAS program.
• Ensured comprehensive logistical and operational management for all trainings, including venue selection, setup, printing of materials, per diem disbursement, and coordination with NI and DoH officials.
• Organized seminars and coordination meetings in the 19 low-performing districts to improve local health and nutrition program implementation.

• 451 unskilled and skilled CfW beneficiaries carry out planned CfW activities while 150 women receive livelihood trainings, 4 women engaged in Women’s Community Centres (WCC) as master trainers and operators of EZShifa Telehealth kiosks.

• Developed and institutionalized the national LSBE curriculum for Grades 1–10, including textbook development for Grades IV and VIII.
• Established 4 LSBE teacher training facilities and conducted national dissemination workshops.
